After two years of growth and building, 5wins is excited to announce the launch of our Internship program, to bring along the next generation of great young writers. These remote and hybrid internships will last for a semester and can be potentially taken for college credit.

For 5wins CEO Alanna Goldman, it’s a chance to bring opportunity back home.

"I'm beyond excited to launch the 5wins Internship Program at my alma mater, Wisconsin.” Goldman said “The J-school gave me a strong framework for how to approach challenges and grow meaningful connections. It helped empower me to dream big and start 5wins."

Goldman began her new media start-up in 2023, disappointed at the dearth of content around NCAA women’s volleyball. Two years later, she’s helping other Badgers change college sports media.

“I grew up a Badger, and it's a full circle moment to see 5wins come to life in Madison," Goldman said.

Prospective interns can apply for either a Journalism or Marketing internship.

The journalism internship will center real-world experience, reporting and writing several articles that highlight the stories of athletes, fans, and the women’s college sports environment. It’s an opportunity to work with experienced editors and build a strong network

The marketing internship will have students build several campaigns to expand 5wins’ reach as a media platform and community center.

All applications are due by September 1 for the Fall Semester. GO Badgers!
